Our Mission

The Howell Township Policemen's Benevolent Association is the proud majority representative of the full-time officers of the Howell Township Police Department. Our organization is dual purposed, functioning both as a public sector labor union and a benevolent association.

Labor Representation

In our labor role, we are tasked with protecting the rights and working conditions for all our members, we negotiate collectively on behalf of our membership, address all grievances, monitor and ensure compliance with our collective bargaining agreements, and work closely with both the township and police administration for the collective good of the department and resident's of Howell Township. We strive to foster a family environment for all our members, openness to new ideas and approaches, and a sense of shared responsibility.

In our role as a benevolent organization, we strive to improve the conditions of our community by addressing injustice, aiding the less fortunate, and supporting diverse and far-reaching charitable endeavors.
